The Thor Sentinel chest protector is an excellent choice for protecting your chest. Its slim profile is perfect for riding and is easily hidden beneath a motocross or mountain bike shirt. It also offers shoulder and elbow protection and is comfortable to wear. It protects your rib cage and lower back in a crash, and is easy to clean and re-use. It is also available in three different color options to match any rider’s uniform.
Thor Sentinel is constructed of injection-molded rigid plastic panels with a bio-foam interior. It goes over your head and is held in place at the top by two shoulder straps, with two adjustable fast-release straps that go from the rear and engage with the quick release click clasps at the front.
Although it is called body armor, Thor Sentinel chest guard really protects the back and front of the chest as it descends to just below the bottom of the rib cage, with the sides of the front parts going just under the arms. The Sentinel has a low profile and can be worn under a riding shirt or riding jacket or on its own in hot weather, as like as Fox.
From dusty tracks to jungle routes where the Thor Sentinel have been used, we’ve tried to collect information. We’ve also studied its performance at adventure riding. Benefits and Drawbacks
The Sentinel’s shoulder straps and back part also distribute the weight of your backpack or drink reservoir, which is an added benefit for long-distance rides.
One minor drawback is that Thor no longer stocks the adult version as an older design model and only lists the youth version on their website. There is still stock available from online merchants.
